The Institute of High Frequency and Quantum Electronics specializes in the development of photonic and quantum electronic components for high-frequency applications in information technology and life sciences. One priority focus is terahertz technology. Our activities include the development of terahertz components and systems, and the exploration of new applications.

What we are looking for
To expand our activities in the terahertz research, we are looking for highly motivated personalities who are ambitious and inquisitive to work in cutting-edge research projects. For our different research fields, we are searching for applicants with a Master’s degree in physics, computer science, electrical engineering or chemistry with very good academic credits. Profound knowledge in one of the following fields is desired: high-frequency technology, image processing, bio analytics or nanoscopy. Strong experimental skills and in-depth programming experience are required.
